Please update your bookmarks! ![]() Mark Bringhurst and Family September 4, 2009 Manassas, VA ( Series Photographs ) Sorry for the lack of posts on the blog here - I have been meaning to work on a new blog/design and haven't been posting recent shoots as a result. However, this shoot was just so great that I couldn't resist! Stay tuned however for a new website and blog in the fall! A few weeks ago my good friend Jenny gave birth to this little guy. We were finally able to do a newborn shoot for him - I was worried he would lose that gorgeous head of hair but as you can see it is still there in an abundance! This was my easiest newborn shoot to date - he's such an easy going baby! These are some of my favorite shots from the shoot and are available for Jenny to share with friends and family until I'm able to finish processing the shots from the rest of the session. Enjoy! ![]() The Pew Family April 27th, 2009 Downtown Provo, Utah ( Series Photographs ) This afternoon I squeezed in one last session before my family and I make the move back east. I photographed the Pew family, my friends and best friend's sister. The session was quick and almost painless (maybe more painful for Tyler) but the results are fantastic! It was such fun, and I think we have a future model in little Jordan! ![]() Paige April 26, 2009 Spanish Fork, Utah ( Series Photographs ) I feel like I've been there through it all! Over the past year I've captured the Young family in the making - the engagement, the wedding, and now the birth of their first little girl and start of their family. I'm really pleased with the results of the shoot and being able to give Morgan and Stacy one last gift before I depart for the east. Enjoy the sneak peak! ![]() Isabella February 11th, 2009 Home of Matt and Alanna Hunter, Orem, Utah ( Series Photographs ) You may remember Alanna from her maternity shoot a few weeks ago. We were so worried that with her due date past we wouldn't be able to fit in the maternity shoot but wouldn't you know Isabella ended up being 2 1/2 weeks overdue! She has the most hair I have ever seen on a baby and is so adorable! Thanks again to Matt and Alanna for letting me photograph the newest edition to their family! Lana is the sister of my best friend, Kae. We had already planned a newborn photo shoot for after the arrival of baby Isabella when Lana asked if I would also take some maternity photographs. I happily obliged - but at this point Lana was already overdue! Our first attempt at a maternity shoot did not go as planned. Prior to the shoot, Lana met with her doctor who insisted she go to the hospital and be induced. We were all so disappointed! The next day however, she was back at home - NO baby. I'd never heard of such a thing, but we took the quick opportunity to still fit in a maternity shoot! Here are a few of my favorites from this afternoon. Stay tuned for pictures of the newest edition of the Hunter family. ![]() The Harmon Family Martha, Josh & baby Madsen November 8th, 2008 Bridal Veil Falls Park, Utah Martha and I grew up together in Northern Virginia. We roomed for a year together at college, where she met and fell in love with a boy named Josh Harmon. They now have an adorable son together who, when I could get him to look at the stranger with the camera, was incredibly photogenic. We spent some time at the park near Bridal Veil Falls and these are some of my favorite shots from our session. ( Series Photographs ) ![]() Michael and Ashli Lundwall July 10, 2008 Downtown Provo, Utah ( Series Photographs ) Michael and Ashli have been married a little over a year now. Ashli and I used to work together and I remember all the planning that went into it! They truly are a perfect fit together. It was a blast to do this really casual shoot with them and I am really pleased with the results. My sister is surrounded by a family full of rambunctious boys! Her boys never fail to entertain and make us laugh. The weather and a few tired "clients" proved to be a challenge, but I think we were able to capture some definite keepers! I recently returned home from the east coast for a week long family reunion with my family. It's a great week spent in the sun and water! Now that my photography is progressing, I had a few of my siblings take me up on my offer for a free photo shoot at any location of their choice. The ocean makes an amazing back drop - I hope these pictures of my brother Jared and his family prove it! This is the final shoot for Morgan and Stacy! Their big day was Friday, the 9th of May. I don't think I've ever been so excited for someone other than myself to get married! They just returned from their Honeymoon in San Diego, California. There is a very anxious Mrs. Young that has waited patiently for these sneak peaks, so here they are!
![]() ( Series Photographs ) Just three weeks before the wedding and with the weather unpredictable from hour to hour, this past week Stacy and I were able to find a gorgeous day to take her bridals. We were the first to ever take Bridals at the Spanish Fork Golf Course, but as you can see it was the perfect back drop at sunset for the shoot. Enjoy!
![]() ( More from her shoot... ) My first engagement shoot was a success! Morgan and Stacy are some of my closest friends and I was so honored when they asked me to shoot their wedding. Having such wonderful friends give me a chance and be so willing to work with me has been great! The weather was pretty dreary, but I'm not sure you can tell from the photos. With over 200 taken today, here are just a few I wanted to share with the Bride and Groom who are eagerly waiting to see all their gorgeous photos from our shoot!
